MISSION STATEMENT
The Empowerment Outfitters Network (EON) is
a non-denominational, Christian-based
organization who’s mission is to, through a
network of landowners and resources, provide
hunting and outdoor opportunities for
disabled and terminally-ill children, youth,
and in rare cases, adults.  We do, however,
place an emphasis on children and youth.
Outdoor outings are in the form of hunting
trips (typically, but not exclusively for whitetail
deer).  The intention is to provide hope
through outdoor adventure, fellowship, and
God’s remarkable creation.
THE NETWORK
Hunts are provided on both private and
commercial land and EON makes every
effort to provide them at  little or no cost to
participating families.   We strive to provide
enriching, empowering, and safe outdoor
experiences that create hope - and
hopefully play a meaningful role in
recovery.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
The allotment of EON hunts is contingent
upon availability and funding. We graciously
accept any monetary gifts we can get from
individuals, companies, stakeholder groups,
as well as clubs and associations.  Guides,
outfitters and hunting lodges that offer
quality hunting opportunities are also needed
for partnership into our program. Though we
do not have non-profit, tax-exempt status at
this time, we partner with the Buckmasters
American Deer Foundation (BADF), which
does.  Therefore, contributions are tax
deductible as allowed by law.  To contribute,
please
contact us.
HOW TO APPLY
If you know a child age 21 or under who has
a life threatening condition or disability, you
can apply for a hunt by completing and
mailing the attached Adobe Acrobat
document to:

Empowerment Outfitters Network (EON)
P.O. Box 203666
Austin, TX 78720

Please include a legible photo of the child.
Prior to a hunt being granted, the child and
parents will be required to read and sign a
form, releasing liability from both EON and
the host.  Also, you will be required to
provide a letter from a primary physician
stating the child's condition, and that they
approve of the proposed hunting activities.
